Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Excellent - surprisingly good - emergency food stop on road trip and can’t wait to come back. We’d make the drive any day!"
"My favorite food cart in the area. The couple that run this place are always pleasant. Food is fresh and tortillas are home-made."
"I eat street tacos all over the state since I drive a lot, and their corn tortillas are some of the best I've ever had!"
"Great spot. Excellent Tacos Al Pastor, and 3 tacos for $9 bucks is a good deal these days. Tortillas are fresh, soft, and delicious. I only ever get al pastor here but everything else looks great. Quick service and a nice guy behind the counter. Can grab a beer next door too."
"My wife thought this to be the greatest breakfast burrito she has had in many moons! She really loved the rice and not an overwhelming amount of eggs. Absolutely delicious!!"
"Very homestyle, authentic Mexican. Haven't had thick tortillas like that since my Mexican friend made them. And I suspect their soups and stews and other dishes may be very good. But... Brush up on your Spanish before you go. I didn't, and wish I had. There was a sign that explains chicharron is pork rind, but it is hidden under the counter. I was trying to get pork meat, not pork rind. Talking with the gentleman taking the order did not clarify."
"Don't know why this place is rated lowest along this stretch of highway. The tortillas were handmade and fresh rather than stale store bought offerings, and the birria special was delicious. I will be back if I'm in the area at lunchtime again."
"Awesome Mexican food. Me favorite is their breakfast burrito. It works for 2 meals for me!"
